Easy to praise from the top of the mountain.

But what about the valley

life in l m This fallen world throws all of the us lemons sometimes

How do we praise then?

It’s always the Bible that shows us what to do. David and Bathsheba’s infant son died. despite David’s fervent prayer. David’s response is the model for how we should respond. He did not become angry or bitter. He went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. 2nd Samuel 12

In the New Testament we’ve read that Paul lived with a thorn in his flesh. Three times he asked the Lord to remove it, and three times the Lord said no my grace is sufficient for you. Second Corinthians 12. Paul’s response was to glory in the fact that he could continue on, because in his weakness God’s strength was made perfect.

God is always God. Message The message version of Isaiah 46 eight through 11 says this

Think about this. Wrap your minds around it. This is serious business, Rebels. Take it to heart. Remember your history, your long and rich history. I am God, the only God you’ve ever had or ever will have-. Incomparable, irreplaceable! From the very beginning telling you what the ending will be, All along letting you in on what is going to happen, assuring you, I’m in this for the long haul. I’ll do exactly what I set out to do. Calling that Eagle, Cyrus out of the east, from a bar country the man I chose to help me. I’ve said it, and almost certainly do it. I planned it, so it’s as good as done.
